God has uniquely gifted all Christians for service for the mutual benefit of each member of the church (I Cor. 12:7, 11).
The ministries of Denton Bible are designed as opportunities for the Denton Bible family to serve other members of the church family as well as the wider community outside the church and even around the world. The various ministries of the church are opportunities to share the love of Christ with others (I John 4:19-21), to live out our faith in practical ways (Matt. 5:13-16; James 1:22), and to personally fulfill the Great Commission as our Lord commanded (Matt. 28:18-20). We have highlighted several of the larger ministries at Denton Bible in the margin at the left. We have also grouped together the very large number of remaining ministries in two categories. The length of commitment varies from short term to long term and the amount of involvement varies from very little time to a more significant amount of time. >> In-reach >> These ministries provide many opportunities for service to the church family, either on the church grounds or sometimes out in the community. >> Out-reach >> These ministries provide many opportunities for service to those who do not regularly fellowship with our church family. Some opportunities extend to other states and even to foreign countries.
